Every dollar we raise helps offset renovation costs at the Pinecrest building, reducing the amount that we need to finance and helping make Christian education in Alpena more affordable.

Contributions can be made in several different ways, including:

  • Cash or check (by mail or with special envelopes available in the church narthex)

  • Credit / debit card via the portal

  • Wire transfer (to our account at AAACU)

  • Required minimum distributions from your IRA

Have an IRA?

You may be required to take a required minimum distribution before December 31, 2025. This can potentially put you in a higher tax bracket next year.

If you’re age 70 ½ or older, the IRS lets you make a tax-free qualified charitable distribution instead.

By naming Immanuel Lutheran School as a recipient, you'll help provide a high-quality Christian education to students in Alpena and the surrounding area while also reducing your taxable income for next year.

Anonymous Donations

If you'd like to contribute to Immanuel's School Expansion Capital Campaign but wish to remain completely anonymous, we are in the process of setting up a secure, 100% anonymous pathway for giving.

You will be able to contribute by wire transfer, mailed check, or in-person at our bank.
